About this project
New construction is a different kind of painting job: no furniture and no old finishes, but bare drywall that shows every flaw under raking light, and a builder’s schedule to keep. In this build, white walls and ceilings run up against black window frames, a black stair rail and a dark fireplace wall, so the cut lines had to be precise. Our approach on new drywall is to prime first, fix what the primer reveals, then apply two finish coats.
Scope of work
- New drywall primed and painted
- Trim and doors painted
- Great room, kitchen, primary bath and stairwell
- Cut lines against black window frames and dark accents
