About this project

Small kitchens get the most out of cabinet painting: there are fewer doors, so the cost is low, and the change is complete because the cabinets are most of what you see. This condo kitchen had the standard golden oak cabinets. We shellac-primed all the oak and painted the doors, drawer fronts and boxes a soft off-white that works with the existing counters and floor.

Scope of work

  • Cabinet doors and drawer fronts painted
  • Cabinet boxes and face frames painted
  • Shellac primer on all oak

Products

  • Shellac-based primer
