About this project
A double-width entry door that faces the sun takes more UV and weather than any other wood on a house, and this one had faded and grayed unevenly. We masked the sidelights, glass and stone, stripped and sanded the door back to bare wood with dust extraction, restained it and sealed it with a clear coat. The wood garage doors had weathered the same way, so they were refinished to match and the front of the house reads as one set again.
